Water level conductivity sensor in soda machines

Hello guys,

I'd like to understand how conductivity sensors work in general and hopefully as it applies to soda machines.
I've encountered two versions with different controllers but I'm sure the principal is the same.

Version 1:
Two stainless steel probes are inserted into the top of the tank (Carbonater) and both are isolated except about 2 centimeters at end of each probe inside the tank. The probes also have a connection on the...

How to make 31 Wireless LED Indicator with Pushbutton

Hello guys. Can someone help me to build a project regarding this. I have three options: (a) Wired (b) Wireless (c) IC Programming

I assume the wireless is the best, I suppose if I use Wireless Doorbell, I can reduce the use of too much wiring. And to make it an LED indicator, I would just have to replace the buzzer/or chime of the doorbell into LED. Is it possible? But I presume, it could possibly have frequency interruptions because I will have 31 doorbells in 1 room. Is changing the dip...

Gaming headset soundcard repair question

So the past couple of weeks my usb headset with a sound card (hyper X cloud ll) has been dropping in and out depending on how the wire sits, recently it has gotten so bad that I decided if I could locate the issue, with great struggle I finally cracked open the sound card to reveal the circuits inside, I noticed the red wire was bent with a slight tear in it, not being a expert what so ever, would this be the cause of my problem and how would I go about fixing a issue like this, picture...

Recently I was reading an article in "Times Of India" where an American girl spoke about why American girls stop chatting immediately when they find that the guy on the other side is Indian. She says that we are really naive about western culture and always ask questions about others private and personal life and have a perverted mind.she even calls us a racist pig at the end.Is it so????what's your take???:(:(:(:(

what is the function of an oscillator within an inverter circuit?

$

This may seem like a stupid question, I thought I knew the answer to this but I think there is more than one answer to it and the question is to "clearly explain the function of an oscillator within an inverter circuit"
My initial thought was that it provides commutation to switch on and off switches alternatively like thyristors for example.
However I know that it's possible to create a true sinewave using positive feedback although this is very difficult so I know there is a big...

O.K. Got a joke.

There was a national poem contest being held and there were two finalists left. The first finalist was a college professor from California. The second finalist was an old ranch hand from Texas. You get 3 minutes to come up with a poem and the poem must end with the word "Timbuktu". They flipped a coin and the professor won the toss. The professor chose to go first and he starts his poem right away. "Miles and miles of sand, riding on a caravan. Camels two by two,...

Ok, so the problem now is this:
I have sim800L module, that i've succeded to get working, was quite chore to program....but now I'm trying to implment it to arduino/teensy!
And in case someone wonders, this is not part of any project yet, just learning how to use it :).
I have code that I'm planning to use as hard-base, but I think carrion return and/or newline causes trouble, my current code is as like this:
AT-command gives ok as return, and it should light up led, just a test skecth for...

I currently live in a two story townhouse where my office is directly above the living room. I have a media center PC in the office with an HDMI splitter. One side goes to the TV in the office. The other side goes to the TV in the living room. This allows we to move from room to room watching the same content.

I am moving to a ranch house (one level house). The living room PC will be too far from the office to run HDMI cables. I looked at wireless HDMI but it looks like their distance is...

Cheap camera stepper motors faulty

I got a pack of 10 micro stepper motors off ebay a while back, they were surplus camera focus motors.

Eventually I had a use for one, in a aircraft instrument I'm adapting, so I pulled one out wired it up to a microcontroller running a microstep routine, worked fine, pulled another out, dead and another dead, and another dead, 3 out of the 10 work.
I'm getting open circuit on one of the wingdings, not always the same one.
So I'm thinking that these were probably a scrapped batch that fell...

Hi,

I'm using Oshonsoft and 18F PICs. When simulating a program, I use the Hserout screen and watch as the code is slowly crunched. Sometime back I was told how to speed this up, can someone remind me how, please?

brushed dc motor driver

I was looking at using this fet "AUIRFS8409-7P" for a 55lbs thrust trolling motor driver. it will be pwm'd and driven from a pic. I had used a BTN8962TA half bridge driven straight from the ccp1 pin, which worked great up to half speed, I was over the current limit on that fet and could only run at top speed for a few seconds until it shut down, now my question is would I need a fet driver for this "beefier" Nfet? and if so, what might be a good match for...
