I have to make a very simple program for led blinking .
Using buttons 1 and 6 lead me.When the button is pressed for a small time , then Led 1 should
be blinking.
This code is part 2 of the LED blink.
part 1- Lead 5 & 6
part 2- LED 1,2,3 & 4 blinking with batton scan
As long as the button is not pressed until the LED blinks 5-6

But when the button is pressed more then 2 sec & unpressed,led1 blink 12sec . ofter 12 sec part
1 agen run.
But when the button is agen pressed more then 10 sec &...

Code Styling Guide for embedded systems

This is not a how to, rather a request. I look at some people code and it looks so organized and nice, where my code works, but is a total disarray. I tend to put most of my code in the main, guess I should use more functions and such. Would someone mind posting an example of how code should be organized and look, and maybe show some things not to do. Some things I wonder, where do you place your functions? In the C++ class I took I was told that functions go after main, but I have seen...

Separating 315/433Mhz from 60hz

I have an AC transformer - 24VAC @ 60hz (fed from 120VAC mains) that feeds a common set of power buss rails in a control assembly.

On this 24VAC buss, we need to inject 315mhz RF from a 2400 baud transmitter (FSK/ASK) and the separate this 315 or 433 Mhz signal back off of the power buss further down the assembly in several locations.

What is the best way to:

1) couple the rf signal and inject it on the 60hz power buss? and
2) what is the best way to pull off just the 315 or 433 mhz...

I have designed a 5V ,350mA fixed power supply with a 12 Vrms step down transformer. the voltage across filtering capicitor should be almost peak value i.e 15V or 16V . but I am getting 12 volts across the capacitor why is it so. the supply is loaded.

I bought two of these voltage regulator which are supposed to be 24V-1.5Amps but I can not find the datasheet or pinout. Only on pinout configuration works but the regulator heat sup quite a bit which making me wonder. It also puts our 22.95 volts when the input is 24.22
Anyone familiar with those one?

Thanks

What is more convenient for voice band, short range of about 10 metres ? Direct modulation of a LED emitter in AM; or FM with a carrier ? No interference is expected.
Which phototransistor would be convenient for blue light reception ?
'Omnidirectional' (hemispheric) blue LEDs, do they exist ?

I think I saw long ago projects, tutorials and schematics somewhere. Cannot find them now. ¿?

50 yr Old 3 tube amplifier circuit?

Does anyone remember the old 3 tube amplifier circuit that used a 50C5, 35W4 and ???? what was the other tube...........12AT6 or something like that?

Does anyone have this circuit?

I already did a web search there are 100s of old tube circuits but not this one. It was never a great amp but it was a fun project for the beginner.

Building a control box for Electric beer kettle with temp regulation

Hello all,

I am designing a control box for a 15 gallon beer brewing kettle (brew-in-bag method) that will control a 5500 watt 240v heating element. I already am familiar with what the schematic would look like and parts needed to wire up a PID and probe into a thermowell (pt100) that will then use a 40a SSR relay mounted to a heat sink.

My question is this: what can I do to the design if I wish to ALSO control the element with a pot-style knob and bypass the PID entirely, for when I...

Audio Controlled LED Chaser using Bandpass Filters and RGB LEDs

Well, I have decided to take on a rather ambitious project to start out my 2016, but I am at a loss on where to start. I know what I want the project to do, and have a decent understanding of what needs to be done, but could use a little guidance in what circuit layouts would work best.

I want to make a circuit/combination of circuits that will drive a series of RGB LEDs in sequence, based on the target audio range (treble, mid, bass). I will be using a car stereo pre-amp outputs for my...

I finally got a replacement for my Bourns 64-pulse per revolution optical encoder and have been playing with it all day. I can read left and right rotations reasonably well using the following look-up table:
View attachment 95259
The problem is that the zeros mean different things. The first 0 (offset =0) means no change in position. The other 0's are effectively errors, such as skipped reads. The characteristic of which is more than one bit changes in the binary value I am...

Hello
I just want to turn on/off Dc motor using voice command. I know I need 8051 development board, Dc motor and voice recognition kit http://www.nskelectronics.com/hm2007_speech_recognition_kit.html . I just want to store two words ON and OFF. I don't understand how does voice recognition kit store voice command. Please help me. how to Turn ON/OFF motor using voice command ?

Thank you very much

I would like to adjust a CB radio and the transmit frequency a little bit using the spectrum analyzer (unless my FC proves to be accurate), what do I need to sample the transmit frequency? I am looking for something to go from the transmitter to a device (the bit I dont know) then out to a dummy load, I believe there is a device with a BNC take off that goes to the SA but I am completely unsure what you use or how you connect it. Sorry if this make no sense! I am wanting to adjust a CB whats...

Hi, it's been long since i have posted a thread, been kinda busy with life but now back into DIY world and i need help for a flashlight project.

I'm looking for a decent circuit of a push to On/Off circuit. I have designed an awesome flashlight of wood, but I'm having problem with a switch.

I don't like mechanical switches as most of them wear out after a few weeks of use. So any of you experts know any simple reliable circuit, preferably using just transistors or an IC that is commonly...

We're working on project that controls signals from daw (digital audio workstation - music production software). I 'm seeking for information and help all around .
The circuit needs to handle 64 analog inputs . the point is that i need to have kind of 3 positions for those 64 inputs .
So if the position is 1 then all inputs are assign to first 64 parameters , then if u put the position to B it switches to next 64 parameters and again switching it to position C brings new 64 assign...

Testing MOV's

can I test MOV'S with my multi meter? I have a blu ray player power board that had a spike and trying to figure out what is at fault. Suggested by DerStrom8 to test the MOV'S but I tried in diode mode, nothing and resistance got nothing? Here is a pic of the board and I checked all the caps and the diodes too. I see 4 blue MOV'S and have desoldered one end on those. I'm getting back into electronics after a long hiatus so I've been doing a lot of reading and refreshing what little I used to...

Quadrature Demodulation at 90 KHz

Hello all

I have a linear frequency modulated (LFM) signal having 90 KHz center frequency and 20 KHz bandwidth around it. My problem is to demodulate it at base band to get I and Q both (phase information required). I have searched a lot at internet but mostly found quadrature demodulator ICs have starting input frequency range in MHz. AD8333 was what i found having lowest input frequency but even it does not work for 90 KHz (as i discussed with analog devices technical staff).

Can any one...

How do I use voltage regulators

Hi iGuys,

I wired two different circuits both with voltage regulators and not getting the results I was hoping for and looking for insight on what I'm doing wrong.

First circuit is a 24VAC rectified to 24DC. The rectifier I'm using is GBU605 and the voltage regulator is a 78248T. I couldn't find either in LTSpice so I used whatever I could find to for illustration purposes.
I get 35.4VDC at the input of the voltage regulator and the output...
